Journeyman Electrician – Abstract Electric LLC
Abstract Electric LLC is hiring a skilled Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, conduit, and systems in industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential settings. You’ll also train and supervise less experienced electricians, inspect work quality, read and interpret blueprints and schematics, and work with builders, architects, and customers so projects finish safely, on schedule, within budget, and to code.
Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, a completed formal apprenticeship and/or a valid electrician’s license, strong knowledge of electrical systems, skill with hand tools, power tools, and test meters, and good problem-solving ability.
The job is physical: you must be able to tell wiring colors apart, stand, kneel, and climb ladders or scaffolding for long periods, pull wire through conduit, and lift up to 50 pounds.
If you want to help build a skilled, lasting team, apply today.
Apprentice-Helper Electrician – Abstract Electric LLC
We are looking for Apprentice and Helper Electricians to learn the trade through hands-on work alongside experienced journeyman electricians. You’ll work on industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential electrical systems.
Day to day, you’ll thread and bend conduit, cut and pull wire and cable, strip insulation, check equipment for loose connections, and help with job prep, trenching, and moving materials to job sites. You’ll also start learning to apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) and read blueprints.
Our formal apprenticeship program combines classroom instruction with several years of tiered on-the-job training.
We’re looking for dependable, safety-minded people who solve problems well, can use hand and power tools, follow directions, and keep a work area clean and organized. You’ll need a high school diploma or equivalent and must be able to tell colors apart (for color-coded wiring). The job also requires lifting up to 50 pounds and long periods of standing, kneeling, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working overhead.
